Customer Reviews
I'm a sucker for keyring multi-tools, so I had to try this one. I'm a bit disappointed. I didn't pay close attention to the description, so I didn't notice that the tool wraps around a key. It is made of very thin stainless steel sheet metal 0.030 inch thick.
The bottle opener works, but the sharp blade of the medium screwdriver will try to cut you if you are not careful. The description here says that the supporting key helps strengthen the bottle opener, but only a very tiny key would leave room for the opener to work.
The medium and wide screwdrivers are tapered so they are much thinner than the 0.030 body and seem like they will not stand up to any serious loosening of screws.
The nail cleaners work OK, but the small screwdriver works better for the purpose.
The file is very dull. It barely cuts my fingernails.
The cutter worked well on a piece of heavy twine.
The tweezers work better than I expected, though obviously they do not have much "reach" and you must remove the unit from the key in order to use them.
Will TSA take this away from me like they took my Swiss Tech tool?
This tool is great! I've had it on my keys for about a month now, so I havnt had to use many of the tools yet, but it still gives me the reassurance of being prepared when I'm in school and cannot carry my knives on me. There are some downsides, though. For one, the tweezers were unable to pull a small splinter from my thumb. If you want these for the tweezers, consider the swiss army knife with the tweezers, instead. Also, the wire cutter, while sharp as it looks, was unable to cut a ziptie, which is understandable, but when I looked back at the tool, the ziptie had bent it some. Of course, the small screwdriver did the trick to shim it, but the wire cutter scould be used only for wire and small cordage.
