The function of this opener is counter intuitive.
Guest sometimes require training.
The bottle is put in vertically, and pulled up.
(most american standard go in horizontal and pull down to open)
But that seems to make it all the more fun.
And UCLA Alum love the bear motif.

I purchased this as a gift for a family member's mountain house. The item is very unique and trendy- however, it seems that a normal bottle opener is MUCH more functional and works MUCH better. This basically is just nailed to the wall now for decor`.
